Welcome TO THE ECOLOGIK STEAM QUEST!
Open to EcoLogilk Alum and Apprentices - this exciting bi-monthly program is designed to engage, inspire, and challenge participants to solve real-world problems using their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). Each challenge is an opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and showcase your creative solutions.

How It Works
Challenge Announcement:
At the beginning of each bi-monthly period, a new STEAM challenge is announced. The challenge is carefully crafted to be relevant, thought-provoking, and aligned with real-world issues.Participation:
All EcoLogik members are invited to participate. Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting, there is something for everyone. You are free to work by yourself, or with a team!Solution Development:
Participants work individually or in teams to develop innovative solutions to the challenge. You can use any combination of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics to tackle the problem.
Submission Process
There are TWO parts to the Submission Process: One is a digital form below, where you will submit pictures and a short description. The other will be brought to the STEAM Picnic hosted at the END OF THE MONTH.
ONLINE SUBMISSION FORM: Due at the end of the two weeks
Documenting Your Solution:
Throughout the design, building, and demo processes, I suggest taking pictures and short videos to keep track of everything! These can be submitted as bonuses in the final submission, and can be used for the final presentations!Submission Portal:
Submit your solution through the EcoLogik STEAM Quest submission portal (typically a Google form). Ensure that your submission is complete and adheres to the guidelines provided.Review and feedback:
We will also have a separate place for you to share any updates throughout the two weeks! This way, other Ecologik members can give suggestions and get inspired!

STEAM Picnic SUBMISSION:
At the STEAM Picnic, all you need to bring is your project! However, here are some other suggestions:
If you can, print and/or bring (using a computer or phone) a couple of pictures of the process!
If you would like, feel free to make a presentation (digitally or with a poster board) about your project!
The STEAM Picnic
The STEAM Picnic is a gathering at the end of the month, to which all Ecologik alumni and members are invited! Whether or not you participated in the STEAM Challenges, you are still welcome! The location of the STEAM Picnic will be at 3201 Sixth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101.
End-of-Month Event:
At the end of each two-week (end of each STEAM Challenge) period, all participants are invited to the EcoLogik STEAM Picnic. This is a vibrant event where you can showcase your solutions, learn from others, and celebrate innovation.
Sharing Solutions:
Set up your presentation booth and share your solution with fellow participants and the EcoLogik community. Engage in discussions, answer questions, and gather insights from others.
Prizes and Recognition:
Outstanding solutions are recognized and awarded prizes. Categories may include Most Innovative Solution, Best Use of STEAM Principles, and People's Choice Award. Prizes are designed to encourage further exploration and development in STEAM fields.
