EcoLogik Institute Receives $275,000 to support Youth Internships
We’re honored to announce that we’ve been chosen for the Youth Workforce Grant Program! 🎉 This opportunity will allow the EcoLogik Institute to continue our work on diversity, equity, and creating meaningful pathways for young people to succeed in STEM careers. We are grateful to be a part of this initiative that’s transforming lives here in San Diego.
The Youth Workforce initiative funds collaborative approaches to streamlining the transition from school to career for young adults aged 16-26. These internships give young adults the skills, training and support to:
Be successful in the workplace
Grow a current career sector
Earn and learn while building their social and professional network, particularly for youth who do not normally have access to paid internships .”
