ABOUT:
Join us for the August STEAM QUEST and share your project at the STEAM Picnic! This exciting bi-monthly program is designed to engage, inspire, and challenge participants to solve real-world problems using their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). Each challenge is an opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and showcase your creative solutions.
Picnic Event:
At the end of each two-week (end of each STEAM Challenge) period, all participants are invited to the EcoLogik STEAM Picnic. This is a vibrant event where you can showcase your solutions, learn from others, and celebrate innovation.
Sharing Solutions:
Set up your presentation booth and share your solution with fellow participants and the EcoLogik community. Engage in discussions, answer questions, and gather insights from others.
Prizes and Recognition:
Outstanding solutions are recognized and awarded prizes. Categories may include Most Innovative Solution, Best Use of STEAM Principles, and People's Choice Award. Prizes are designed to encourage further exploration and development in STEAM fields.
AUDIENCE:
The STEAM Picnic is a gathering at the end of the month, to which all Ecologik alumni, members, and their families are invited! Whether or not you participated in the STEAM Challenges, you are still welcome!
COST:
Free! Just bring yourself and some lunch and blankets for sitting - we will be by the playground @ Balboa Park!
